How to apply

1. Explore the available summer jobs through the application links below once the application period for summer 2026 opens on January 5, 2026. 
   
   
2. Apply for a summer trainee position that best matches your study background by filling in the application form. We offer summer trainee positions available at both our production sites and our offices. Please remember to attach CV to the application. Our summer jobs are available for a period of 1 to 4 months. 
   
   
3. After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation message from the system. Once the application period has ended, we will inform you about the status of your application. 
   
   
4. We review the applications, and the most suitable candidates will be invited to a video interview or a face-to-face interview. Interviews will take place during March. After the interviews, the selected candidates will be offered summer trainee positions.
   
   
5. We receive thousands of summer job applications annually and do our best to communicate clearly and promptly throughout the selection process. We appreciate your patience and wish you good luck with your job search. We will select our summer trainees by April 15th, 2026, and all applicants will be informed of the outcome by April 16th, 2026. 

Below, you'll find examples of summer trainee positions in 2025.

Summer jobs in our production and production white collars

• As a summer trainee in our production, you will work for example in the manufacture of textiles and spare parts used in machining, assembly, installation or welding tasks, foundry work or paper machines. In your role, you are responsible for meeting the production quality requirements and performing your work safely.
  
  
• In our production maintenance  summer jobs, you work in different kind of maintenance related tasks. 
  
  
• In logistics, you send products to external warehouses, collect spare parts or receive goods. As a reception inspector, you work independently on different pieces. The task is to check valve parts coming from suppliers.
  
  
• The work tasks of the paint shop include sandblasting the factory-made valves in a sandblasting machine and protecting them for the painting phase. The work includes lifting actuators and other components to be painted onto the track of the paint shop and off it after painting.
  
  
• As a summer trainee of production supervisor, you are responsible for work management and production planning. We are also looking for summer employees for various production development and design tasks.

We offer summer jobs also at customer sites. Your tasks may include participating in one-time maintenance at the customer's location, or for example, tool maintenance and inventory management.

Alternatively, your tasks may involve basic installation work, such as replacing bearings and seals, or changing rollers, or more demanding problem-solving as needed.

Additionally, we have positions in maintenance, assembly, installation, and storage tasks at our service centers and customer production facilities.

The work involves travel, meaning it is done at our customer sites across Finland.

• Office positions are available, for example, in automation, mechanical and process as well as energy and environmental engineering, project management and research and product development.
  
  
• In addition, summer jobs are available in our logistics, procurement, quality and HSE throughout Finland. Summer jobs are also available in technical and commercial sales support and order processing.
  
  
• We also offer a variety of summer jobs in our Corporate functions. Whether you have a background in accounting or IT or are studying marketing or HR, apply for an interesting summer job with us!
