Cloud migration

In most cases, no hardware replacement is required and only a cloud configuration upgrade is needed.

  • Existing MGuard remains in place
  • Migration handled as a back-office activity
  • Included for customers with an active Expert Online subscription

Replacement of obsolete hardware

Older MGuard devices are not compatible with New second Cloud and must be replaced.

  • Hardware replacement required 
  • Remote assistance available only after installation
  • Replacing the device in advance helps avoid delays during machine stoppages

    • €1,200 activation/migration fee
    • €1,400 single support ticket or subscription purchase

Is the New second cloud migration mandatory?

Yes. It is required to continue using Expert Online remote support.

What happens if I don’t migrate?
Remote 
assistance may no longer be available, leading to longer downtime and higher costs for restarting.

Do I need to stop production for the migration?
In most cases, no production stop is 
required. Migration is handled as a back-office activity.

Is the migration free?
It is free for customers with an active Expert Online subscription. Without a subscription, fees apply.

How long does the migration take?
Typically around 1–2 hours once scheduled.
