Circular economy in our own operations
We implement the circular economy in our own operations by continuously improving our performance in several circularity-related areas.
In order to improve the resource efficiency of our own production operations, we carry out energy audits regularly, we comply with quality and environmental standards, and we apply LEAN principles.
The majority of the metals that we use in our production are sourced as recycled. We also reuse metals internally in our own processes in our foundries.
We require resource efficiency and good environmental management from all our suppliers, and we support their efforts to improve their performance in these areas.
By sharing our laboratory and piloting facilities with our customers we decrease the need for them to set up they own facilities.
We also strive to prolong the lifetime of our production equipment. Preventive maintenance is an important tool in this.
