Key technology for Metsä Group's Äänekoski Bioproduct mill
Metsä Group's bioproduct mill in Äänekoski was started up on August 15, 2017. Valmet's delivery to the mill included a recovery boiler, pulp drying line, gasification plant, lime kiln, sulfuric acid plant, and mill-wide Valmet DNA automation system.

RoboStackcoiler™ DDUA
RoboStackcoiler offers a cost-efficient, fully automatic solution for dewiring and destacking pulp bale units. The machine, which handles all unit sizes on the market, combines safe dewiring technology and efficient destacking down to single bales for pulp receiving lines at rates of up to 200 bales/h.
RoboFolder
Valmet RoboFolder is a folding machine that produces finished bales wrapped in pulp sheets or roll paper. This proven design produces smart, uniform finished bales at rates of up to 300 bales/h and has well-documented high availability from its use at well over one hundred mills around the world.
