Metso to supply two defibrator systems to Hanhong, China

Metso will deliver two defibrator systems to Guangdong Hanhong Wood Industry Co.,Ltd. for their site in Shaoguan City, Guangdong province, China. Start-up is scheduled for the first quarter of 2011. The parties have agreed not to disclose the order value.

The equipment from Metso is of the latest technology with the lowest possible production costs, including two EVO 50 Defibrator systems, related motors, control system as well as supervision and start-up.

The Hanhong plant is designed for MDF (medium density fiber board) with a thickness range of 6 – 22 mm. Raw material will be poplar (85%) and pine (15%). The defibrator capacity is about 20 tonnes per hour.

Hanhong is a modern enterprise that operates in MDF production sector, with three MDF lines. The total production will increase up to 600,000 m3 of MDF after this project will be completed.
