Managing and maintaining a Valmet D3 system is usually a full-time job (or several jobs). Each system comes with several small tools and applications to supplement the main engineering tools and to help engineers diagnose and solve issues quickly.

During the webinar, we will cover the following: 

• D3 Tools and documentation
• Navigating and searching from the command shell
• Managing Microsoft Defender malware and firewall settings
• Using D3Client to read (or backup) and write (or restore) live control data
• Many other tools and tips used by Valmet support engineers

Mike Davis Senior Manager, Product Management Mike has a wealth of experience in process automation, with over 20 years in the field. His career began in 1999 when he worked as a PLC and D3 system manager. In 2019, he took on a new role at NovaTech Process Solutions, which was later acquired by Valmet in 2023. In his current position, Mike is responsible for managing D3, FlexBatch, and other related service offerings within the company. His extensive background and expertise make him a valuable asset in the field of process automation.
