3. MAIN NEW FEATURES AND IMPROVEMENTS
-------------------------------------

 - Support for new device revisions
 - New diagnostics features added
 - Several bug fixes
 - Tested for compatibility with .NET 1.1 applications
 - See Changes.txt for more details about new features

4. MINIMUM HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS
--------------------------------

 - Intel i3 or compatible processor
 - 1024 MB RAM
 - At least 60 MB of disk space
 - A display with minimum resolution of 1024x768
 - A mouse compatible with Microsoft software

5. SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
------------------------

 - Frame application supporting FDT 1.2 and addendum
    * This DTM package has been tested and found working with
frame applications based on Microsoft Classic Win32 API or
      Microsoft .NET 1.1 technologies.
 - Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher
 - Administrator rights for installation
 - Supported operating systems:
    * Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008
    * Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 10, Windows Server 2016

6. SOFTWARE INSTALLATION
------------------------

 1. Close all programs and frame applications.
 2. Uninstall any previous version of Neles/Metso Device DTMs.
 3. Install the new DTM package.
    a. First unzip the DTM package prior to running "setup.exe"
    b. Accept the license agreement and perform a "Complete" installation.
 4. Update DTM catalog in the frame appication.

NOTE: Neles/Metso Device DTMs are backward compatible with
previous DTM versions. DTMs are NOT forward compatible,
i.e. it is not possible to install older DTM packages
and assume that existing projects will work.

7. KNOWN ISSUES
---------------

 1. With ND9000H device, VC SW rev. 1.08 or earlier, the travel rates are scaled
between 0 and 1 not from 0 to 100 %/s as DTM assumes.
 2. Performance Level parameter values for Capacity boosters are only valid for
ND9000H with VC revision 1.40 or newer.
 3. Performance Level parameter values for Capacity boosters can not be set via
DTM with ND9000P FBIs SW revision 1.31 or older. These values can be set via local
user interface to devices with VC revision 1.40 or newer.
 4. ND9000P device with FBI SW 1.31 does not use flow modification curve although it can be downloaded to the device.
 5. With FieldCare 1.3, DTM hangs after executing upload or download function when DTM is in
offline mode. Functions are executed successfully, if DTM is first set to online mode.
 6. Spool Valve position device variable value is 0 for ND9000H device with SW revision 1.07 or older.
 7. VG800 Valve test data export (via right mouse click of graph) exports 200 data points to file.
Only the first 50 values are valid and remaining 150 data points should be ignored.
 8. DTM allows the user to click Start test button and read test results when VG800 is in OFF-mode.
The device will not perform the test.
 9. VG800 "Leakage Measurement Time" value in GUI is 1000x bigger than in exposed parameter list.
10. ND9000H with VC SW revision smaller than 1.40, pressure device variable values are scaled incorrectly.
The true value is 0.8 x device variable value. This can be seen only in monitoring view and it does not
have affect to trend values in Lifecycle diagnostics view.
11. ND800PA DTM shows incorrect text:"Device is calibrating..." in Pressure Sensor Calibration view, when
any of the calibrations or tests have been done in DTM. The device is not calibrating.
12. VG800 trend and test graph values are not shown when DTM user interface is reopened.
13. VG800 Rev. 1 will not perform the test in device if it is started from the DTM's user interface and
device is in OFF-mode. The DTM will not inform that test is not executed. VG800 rev. 2 informs that
    test is not executed.
14. VG800 Rev. 1. If test is started when device in OFF-mode, DTM disables the toolbar buttons. Those
are not enabled. Workaround is to close and reopen to DTM's user interface.
18. In some cases the Tag parameter will be shown with blue font color and asterisk at the left side of the
parameter value. This is a cosmetic issue and does not necessary mean that the device tag and the tag at the
DTM GUI would in out of sync.
19. ND9000 Stiction trend is erroneous in ND9000P FBI SW 1.51-1.80 and ND9000F Rev 3 DTMs
if used with a device having VC Software Revision 1.55 and newer.
20. SG9000H with VC SW revisions 1.00, 1.01, 1.02 does not provide all Positoner parameters.
21. VG9000F Auto PST cancellation: if a user sets the auto PST test interval to smaller value than what it takes
the device to execute the test, it is not possible to cancel the tests and set the new interval via the DTM.
Workaround is to use the VG9000F DD to set the interval to larger value.
22. VG9000F On-Off mode: Input Signal indicator stays on in Safety View, even if the input signal changes.
23. Chinese support: for a full support in Chinese operating systems, please switch the "Language for non-Unicode
programs" regional setting to "English (United Stated)" (or any other ISO Latin1 western language).
24. In some cases the FieldCare is unable to automatically select the correct ND9000PA DTM for ND9000PA devices.
In these cases, please perform the following steps:
    1. close all projects and shut down the FieldCare
    2. remove the FRMRepository.xml file from FieldCare installation directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Metso\FieldCare\Frame)
    3. start the FieldCare and let it automatically update the device catalog
    4. scan the missing/incorrectly identified Profibus devices
