Valmet to deliver a nonwoven bonding system for Dalian HuaYang Bicoweb Technology in China

Valmet will deliver a Spunbond Nonwoven Honeycomb Thru-Air Bonding system to Dalian HuaYang Bicoweb Technology Co., Ltd. in Liaoning province, China. The system will help the customer to achieve the best nonwoven web quality.

The order was included in Valmet's second quarter of 2018 orders received. The scheduled delivery time is May 2019.

Technical information about Valmet's delivery

The Honeycomb Thru-Air Bonding technology is a process whereby heated air is passed through the nonwoven web to accomplish the thermal bonding. The air temperature and pressure uniformity is very critical for the bonding quality. Valmet's Honeycomb Thru-Air Bonding technology promotes uniform air flow through the product in the cross and machine direction.

The scope also includes a control system for the Honeycomb Thru-Air Bonding system and the burner management system unit (BMS) to enable safe local control of the burners.
