Fatal accident at Valmet’s project site in USA

On Thursday, October 6, 2016 a serious workplace accident occurred at Valmet's customer site in Virginia, USA. Valmet is currently completing a rebuild project at WestRock's Covington mill. An employee of Valmet's subcontractor was severely injured and died.

After this very unfortunate accident, our thoughts are with the deceased's family and colleagues. We have informed the personnel working with the project on site and are providing them the needed support.
