The Valmet DNA Heat Exchanger Performance Monitoring calculates, stores and displays the main performance parameters that indicate condition and operation efficiency of heat exchangers, such as condenser, district heat exchangers, HP- and LP -preheaters.

  • Steam condenser
  • HP – and LP-preheaters
  • District heat exchangers

The calculated performance parameters include:

  • Effect [MW]
  • Heat transfer coefficient (for condenser) [W/°C]
  • Temperature efficiency (for heat exchangers) [ - ]
  • Terminal temperature difference [oC] or alternatively
  • Log mean temperature difference [oC]
