Valmet to deliver high-speed tissue machine to Lucart France

The tissue producing company Lucart France S.A.S. has placed an order with Valmet for a high-speed tissue machine to its operations in Trovilliers, Troyes, France. The value of the order is app. EUR 8 million. The capacity of the machine is app. 30 000 t/y and start-up is scheduled for August 2001.

The tissue machine is designed for 2,100 m/min and will be equipped with a high-velocity yankee hood. Other features of the tissue machine will be a Sym Flo TIS 2L headbox, prepared for dilution control, reel with nip load control and Valmets latest design for dust removal.

Lucart France S.A.S. is owned by Cartiera Lucchese S.p.A. of Italy, and this is the first order placed with Valmet by the group.
