Metso will supply Shandong Bohui Paper Industry Co., Ltd. with a rebuild of their Zibo mill PM 3 paper machine in Shandong province, China. The rebuilt machine is scheduled to start up during the 1st quarter of 2010. The value of the order will not be disclosed.

Metso’s delivery includes two ValFlo headboxes for the PM 3 machine. The 4.3-m-wide (wire) machine produces gypsum board paper in the basis weight range of 140 – 210 g/m2. Shandong Bohui Paper selected ValFlo headboxes thanks to their compact design, adaptable to existing mill environments and processes, as well as their fast installation and start-up. These features help ensure that targeted improvements in production and quality can be reached as quickly as possible after start-ups.

Shandong Bohui Paper Co., Ltd., founded in 1994, is a large-scale joint-stock enterprise. The annual paper and board making capacity is around 850,000 tonnes.
