Metso-supplied SymBelt press reaches 2,000 m/min at Al Sindian, Egypt

The Metso-supplied Advantage DCT 200TS tissue machine at Al Sindian mill, in 6th October City, Egypt, has been operated at the speed of 2,000 m/min with it's SymBelt shoe press.

After a smooth start-up in 2005, the 5.5 m-wide Advantage DCT 200TS tissue machine produces high-quality facial, toilet and towel grades at top operational speeds. The outstanding results at Al Sindian have been possible to reach thanks to the highly professional mill organization and the dedicated personnel operating this top-quality equipment.

The Al Sindian mill belongs to the Nuqul Group, with headquarters in Amman, Jordan. Nuqul Group is the leading tissue producer in the Middle East and North Africa, operating four paper mills: Al Keena and Al Snobar in Jordan as well as Al Bardi and Al Sindian in Egypt.
