Metso Paper supplies rebuilt white liquor plant for Mondi, Syktyvkar mill in Russia

Metso Paper will supply Mondi, Syktyvkar mill in Russia with a rebuilt white liquor plant. The rebuild will increase the capacity to 8 200 m3 of white liquor/day, improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions. The delivery will be completed in November 2008. The value of the order is EUR 23 million.

The rebuild includes complete basic engineering, detailed engineering of piping and layout, supply of recausticizing equipment, centrifuge for dregs dewatering, white liquor filtration, lime dewatering and new FLS lime kiln.
