Metso Paper supplied linerboard machine starts up at Zhejiang Jingxing Paper

Metso Paper supplied linerboard machine PM 12 of Zhejiang Jingxing Paper Joint Stock Co., Ltd. has started up on August 5th in the city of Pinghu, in Zhejiang, China. The line produces high-quality containerboard for the domestic market.

Metso's delivery contained a complete three-ply linerboard machine with corresponding services. The new PM 12 has a wire width of 6,150 mm and a design speed of 1,100 m/min. The new PM 12 will produce linerboard in the range of 125-250 g/m2. The machine has an annual capacity of 450,000 tonnes.

Zhejiang Jingxing Paper is headquartered in Pinghu, Zhejiang province, approx. 100 km southwest of Shanghai. The company is currently one of China's three leading producers for kraft testliner. The company employs more than 1500 people.
